Nikolai Annenkoff

Nikolai Annenkoff is a California-based software engineer and co-founder of Aether Creative Studio, specializing in iOS development, scalable application architecture, and modern product engineering. With nearly a decade of experience building digital products across startups, media platforms, and consumer applications, he brings a deeply technical yet product-minded perspective to the studio’s work.

Nikolai has worked across a range of iOS engineering roles, including positions at ACTV8me, LITPro, and Planning Diva Co., where he contributed to media technology platforms, real-time communication systems, SDK architecture, and mobile experiences focused on performance and usability. His background spans Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, API architecture, cloud infrastructure, and scalable mobile systems designed for long-term maintainability.

John and Nikolai originally met while working together at ACTV8me, collaborating on iOS experiences within the connected media and entertainment space. Their shared interest in thoughtful product design, emerging technology, and user-centered digital experiences eventually led to Nikolai joining Aether Creative Studio as co-founder to expand the studio’s engineering and application development capabilities.

At Aether, Nikolai focuses on bridging design and engineering — helping transform concepts into polished, high-performance digital products. His work often centers around native iOS applications, backend-connected systems, interactive experiences, and technical infrastructure that supports scalable modern platforms.
