KB Tint Webflow website

Overview

KB Tint is a service-based business offering professional window tinting. Aether Creative Studio built the company's website as a subcontractor for Yelu Marketing, focused on establishing a cohesive, responsive Webflow presence in place of a fragmented one.

Challenge

KB Tint's existing web presence was inconsistent from page to page and device to device, without a shared structure holding it together. The site needed to behave predictably across breakpoints and be easy for another developer to pick up later, rather than depending on custom, one-off solutions that would be difficult to maintain.

Solution

Aether built the site using the Client-First naming and structuring convention — the widely used Finsweet methodology for organizing Webflow class names and layout logic. Responsive layouts were designed to adapt cleanly across breakpoints, and components were built to be reused rather than recreated for each new section, keeping the system consistent and easier to extend over time.

The emphasis throughout was on structure over novelty: a site that behaves the same reliable way regardless of device, without introducing the kind of one-off customization that tends to create long-term maintenance friction.

Results

KB Tint now has a cohesive, responsive website that performs consistently across devices and is straightforward for another developer to extend, since it follows a predictable, documented structure rather than a collection of custom, page-specific solutions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What problem was Aether solving for KB Tint?

KB Tint's web presence had grown inconsistent over time — pages didn't share a common structure, and behavior varied across devices. Aether rebuilt the site as one cohesive, responsive system instead of a set of one-off pages.

What is the Client-First methodology, and why was it used here?

Client-First is a Webflow naming and structuring convention developed by Finsweet that keeps class names and layout logic predictable. Building KB Tint's site this way means another developer can read the structure quickly and extend it confidently, rather than needing the original builder for every future change.

Why does responsiveness matter this much for a site like KB Tint's?

Most visitors to a local service business's site arrive on a phone. Building responsiveness in as a baseline — not an afterthought — meant the site needed to look and function the same reliable way regardless of screen size, rather than being patched for individual breakpoints later.

What platform and tools were used to build the site?

The site was designed in Figma and built in Webflow, using Webflow's CMS for ongoing content management.

What was Aether's role on this project?

Aether designed and developed the website as a subcontractor to Yelu Marketing.
