Mercado and Son Pest Control is a family-owned business based in Pomona, serving homes and commercial properties across the San Gabriel Valley. Aether Creative Studio redesigned its website, defined the brand's digital presentation, established a design system, and organized content for SEO and answer engine optimization (AEO).

Challenge

The project centered on making a local service business easier to understand and contact. Visitors needed to recognize the company, find the right service, confirm local coverage, and take a clear next step. Brand definition, page structure, and search content needed to support that same task.

Approach

Website redesign

The redesign organizes the experience around services, trust, coverage, and contact. A prominent introduction leads into residential and commercial offerings, pest categories, customer feedback, and common questions. Phone links and estimate requests give visitors direct ways to act throughout the experience.

Brand definition

The digital identity emphasizes the company's family-run character and local expertise. Photography of the service vehicle anchors the opening section in the real business. Blue provides the main visual foundation, while red calls to action, bold typography, and plain language give the presentation a recognizable, practical character.

Design system

Shared patterns connect the pages: a consistent heading hierarchy, service cards, icon-led information, buttons, and question-and-answer sections. These repeated elements give the website a coherent visual language and a foundation for extending the experience without reinventing each section.

SEO and AEO

Service-specific pages and explicit location information make the business's offerings and coverage easier to interpret. Concise FAQs address response times, treatment options, and service areas. This content structure supports traditional search and gives answer engines direct explanations to work with.
